FreemiumPDF ("we", "us", "the site") provides free online tools at freemiumpdf.netlify.app. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how your uploaded files are handled, and the choices available to you.
FreemiumPDF is built so that the large majority of tools process your files entirely inside your own browser, using JavaScript and WebAssembly. In these cases your files are never uploaded anywhere — they are read, processed, and turned into a result on your own device, and nothing is transmitted to our servers.
Exception — PDF Password Protector: this specific tool encrypts your PDF using a server-side library, so the file you upload is temporarily sent to our server to add the password, then the original and the result are both deleted immediately after the response is sent back to you. We do not retain, back up, or inspect these files. If file privacy is your top priority, prefer tools marked as running in your browser.
FreemiumPDF is supported by advertising. We work with third-party advertising companies (such as Google AdSense) to serve ads when you visit the site. These companies may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to remember basic preferences and to support analytics and advertising as described above. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site function.
We do not require account creation, and we do not ask for names, payment details, or other personal identifiers to use the tools on this site.
